Beyond the Bottom Line Spring Conference

Today’s Children…Tomorrow’s Thriving County

What are ACEs? Adverse childhood experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years). ACEs are linked to chronic health problems, mental illness, and substance misuse in adulthood. ACEs can also negatively impact education and job opportunities. However, ACEs can be prevented. Please attend this important conference to learn more.

• Why, and how, grassroots movement to prevent ACEs and promote resilience has evolved in Orange County and the road ahead
• How ACEs impact adult worker performance
• The value of creating a trauma-informed workplace
• Large and small businesses can make a difference by adopting policies and practices that reduce household violence and child maltreatment

• Keynote Address: Lauren Jones, French Lick Resort & Casino
• SICHC & Thrive Orange County, So IN Body & Movement
• Orange County Economic Development
