Lori D. Day, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Lori became a Registered Nurse in 1994. Through her many years of nursing she gained clinical and leadership experience in several areas including Med/Surg, ICU, and Home health. In 2006 she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Then in 2015 completed further education obtaining specialty certifications in Wound and Ostomy Care through the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society. She continued her practice in Wound/Ostomy Specialty at IU Bloomington Hospital and at the Outpatient Wound Center. Then in 2019 completed her Master’s degree through Indiana Wesleyan University becoming a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Southern Indiana Community Health Care in 2022, Lori worked at Bedford’s Ascension Indiana St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, specializing in wound care and family practice.
Lori has lived in Lawrence County all of her life and is excited to continue her passion as a Family Nurse Practitioner caring for families in the community.
In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, kayaking, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grand boys who are 2 and 3 years old.
