Dr. Stachowicz received her Bachelor of Science in biology and her Bachelor of Arts in English from the Honors College at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2007. She earned her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. At the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she completed her family medicine residency in 2019.

She is board certified in family medicine and board certified in obesity medicine. Dr. Stachowicz strongly believes that obesity is not a choice, it is a disease. She’s passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding the disease of obesity.

She and her husband have 2 sons. Her personal interests include watching movies and TV shows. In her spare time, she hopes to start playing badminton.
