Shelby Fleetwood is a Licensed Social Worker who provides compassionate, client-centered mental health care at our SICHC Bedford location. She specializes in individual therapy, assessments, and treatment planning, and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support each patient’s unique needs.

Shelby earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. She is also a Credentialed Sexual Abuse Youth Clinician (CSAYC), bringing additional expertise in supporting youth and families through evidence-based approaches.

Prior to joining SICHC, Shelby served as a Home-Based Therapist, where she provided therapy in community settings using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and play therapy. Her background includes working with children, adults, and families to promote emotional well-being and long-term stability.

Shelby was drawn to SICHC’s mission of delivering compassionate, community-centered care and is passionate about advocating for underserved populations. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can experience meaningful growth and healing.

Originally from Michigan City, Indiana, Shelby enjoys reading, spending time outdoors with her animals, and watching movies and documentaries. She is known for her calm, down-to-earth approach that helps clients feel comfortable and supported.
