(Master of Social Work, Licensed Social Worker)

Penny Amy is providing mental health services in an integrated SICHC system, where a healthy body helps maintain a healthy mind.  “There is a huge need for mental health services, and I want to be able to help people in the community. I chose SICHC because I like the vision of how SICHC makes an active effort to see and help the people within the community.” 

She worked as a Linkage to Care Worker /Case Manager for IU Health Positive Link Services. Providing services for the people who are HIV positive, connecting them to medical care by addressing the underlying determinants of care. These services varied by client and were individualized to their specific needs.  

Penny received her Master of Social Work at Indiana Wesleyan University; also received her Bachelor of  Science degree at  Indiana University in Applied Health Science, Public Health. 

Penny and her family are currently rural residents of Orleans. She is a busy mom and enjoys cheering for her kids for whatever activity they are doing.
